There are several reasons I've stayed at Marriott properties over the years, from the budget Fairfield Inns to the Marriott Renaissance Hotels and Resorts; they are consistently clean, the places are well run, and the staff is well trained. The same was true of this hotel. I had been painting in Provence on a lovely art workshop holiday staying at nice two stars, and then a night in a budget hotel in Paris. For my final night before I went back to real life, I wanted comfort and predictability. I found a good price on Travleocity in USD, great when the dollar is so weak against the euro. I had a clean room, comfy king size bed, CNN and the BBC on TV and the next day, a good breakfast buffet with eggs and all the trimmings. I checked my email at the business center as well. All went smoothly, and the airport shuttle (a five euro charge) which runs every 15 minutes or so, delivered me to the airport and to the proper terminal. A desk clerk also made several calls to handle a problem I had with a bag that I'd left back in Paris at my previous hotel, patiently helping me solve this problem. Then she gave me a coupon for a free cocktail at the bar, since I was so frazzled! This place is expensive, but it was well worth it from my standpoint. I could take a long tub bath, get packed and organized, and prepare to go back to the real world with some sanity. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott at CDG airport outside of Paris for the last night of a 10 day trip to the City of Light. I was warmly greeted on arrival and offered a complmentary bottle of wine for being a Marriott rewards member. There was also a generous complimentary fresh fruit plate waiting in the room. The large and comfortable room had a huge king size bed already turned down, with a robe and slippers laid out and mints on the pillow. The room, and entire property were very new, clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. There was no minibar refrigerator, however. The room was very quiet for an airport location. It was just exactly like being in an equivalent business class hotel in any large US city. There is a free coffee/tea station in the lobby in the morning. Overall, I was treated very courteously and efficiently. I could relax and speak English to the staff, if I chose. I felt secure and comfortable as a solo woman traveler staynig there. There is an airport shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. ( Allow plenty of time, since the route covers stops at half a dozen other nearby hotels on the way to the airport.) Excellent choice if you have a morning flight out of CDG, no stress getting out of Paris and trying to make it to the airport on time. The rate I booked throgh online travel website was very competitive, incomparison to the hotel's corporate rates. Reccomended!

Nice hotel. Dinner was very expensive but mostly because of weak dollar. Room was very pleasant, spacious and clean. Staff courteous to a fault. They did charge 5 Euros for the airport shuttle.
