We stayed at this hotel the night before retuning to the States. It was a good location for the airport and they had a free shuttle. The restaurant staff screwed up our bill and found the staff at the restaurant to be unhelpful with getting it resolved. I sent an e-mail and the management was very quick to correct the error. The food at the restaurant was very good but pricey. All in all, I would stay there again when flying out of Edinburgh.

It has that same slightly run-down look and feel. Hotel is at the end of a long drive through a mostly industrialized group of streets near the airport. Parking is controlled, but as a guest they validate (in/out privileges). Staff seemed friendly and helpful, but overworked. If you don't want to eat in the restaurant, the lobby bar does food too. Not bad, reasonable price. The room was larger than the one I had at the Hilton, with plenty of room. Unlike the Hilton, no bus stop nearby, and too far from the airport to walk. Hotel advertises WiFi Internet in the rooms, but in fact its only available in some rooms. Signal is too weak to reach all rooms. Be sure your room gets good reception before you pay Boingo for access, as they won't refund your money if your access (as mine was) is so weak that you can't actually access anything.
