Number one, that bed was so comfortable I never wanted to get out of it!! If you want a hotel with a view, this isn't the place for you, but everything otherwise is top notch. The meals (although a bit pricey) in the dining room are excellent, as was room service. Everyone was very helpful, there was also a binder in the room with really helpful information about what was available in the hotel. And not having been to Pittsburgh before - there was also a book in the room about things to do around the City - which also came in very handy for me, I read the whole thing and made some fun choices on where to go. I would definitely book there again if going to Pittsburgh.

02/03/2008We will stay there again....newly renovated...no fridge in room....kind of a pain, like having a fridge when traveling with the kids. no valet parking...ugh and bellman ...
we will stay there again....newly renovated...no fridge in room....kind of a pain, like having a fridge when traveling with the kids. no valet parking...ugh and bellman was doing an airport run when we arrived...so it would be nice if the front desk pitched in to help....no VIP room on the 15th floor but they sent cheese & crackers and pop to our room....

business center copier was jammed and it would be nice if you could use your room key to charge things instead of having $45 held on my credit card to make a few copies....
great fitness center and pool....great whirlpool....would love to try it again when we weren't so exhausted from our trip and we could enjoy it more....will stay there again next time in town...
pool is very nice and well maintained. security staff very on their job, there were hockey players and a church kid retreat there and the security staff kept things under control.

We held our 35th high school reunion here and were very pleased with the service, the food was excellent and it was a buffet!!! The rooms were deluxe and the bar and bartender was very welcoming and comfortable. I would highly recommend this to anyone, too bad I live within 40 miles and probably won't have an occasion to stay again!

According to the signs, this hotel is going to have a renovation in the future. Unfortunately we were too early. Lobby area is deceptively nice, guest rooms old, dirty, wallpaper peeling off walls in halls. Disgusting! Plus, even though this is the ""airport"" hotel it is no where near the airport and takes 20-30 minutes to get a cab to come pick you up.
