No light in Columbia

The hotel room was moderately clean, but I had 2 lights burn out immediately, and then a 3rd of the burn out and it was not replaced the whole time that i was there. Also, there in no mention that there is a POD station right next door that starts moving/working before 7 am.

Location near the airport was good, but car still needed. This was more a motel than a hotel, very close to the freeway. Area near shops, not residential, The room they gave us was needed rehab. It seemed rather run down. Extension cords used to hook up a small fridge and microwave. The 2nd night we got back to the room, the toilet didn't flush. We called the front desk and since maintenance had already left for the day, they gave us a different room. This new room was set up for handicap access and was in better condition than the 1st one. To be honest, we booked this place as part of a package, air, hotel I& car. Otherwise, we would have checked out and found a different hotel after the 1st night. We didn't see any bugs or such, and if you're on a tight budget, this place would be adequate. You can rent rooms by the week very cheaply.

The front desk gave us a smoking room when we arrived and we had to change rooms because we had requested a non-smoking room, but they were very polite about the change. The first room was terrible. The drawers were falling out of the dresser and there was an old can in the corner. The spray to hide the smoke smell was rancid. The non-smoking room was clean and everything worked. I was a little concerned that the appliances in each room are all plugged into one extention cord behind the dressers. The pool was clean and looked enjoyable but we didn't have time to use it. A lot of lower class people were in the far back building and the police had to be called once for a disorderly woman who appeared to be on drugs. The front building had very friendly and nice people in it. Overall, I would stay there again if I was in a crunch for money because it was okay for the fee.

It was bad from the beginning. THe front desk clerk was rude, the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The beds were disgusting, the sheets and comforters had what appeared to be urine stains on them. We asked for a extra towel and was stained with dark yellow stains. The floor had broken glass on it and your socks turned black walking from the bathroom to the bed. Do I need to say anything more?

Service was good very nice staff, but the cleanliness was not there, no hot water, assigned room was wrong, asked for non smoking and got smoking. Would not stay here in the future even though the rates were good. The room had an odor of urine.
