The hotel is conveniently located to the highway, Notre Dame and downtown South Bend. The price could not be beat! It felt very secure and safe. The other-than-lobby exterior doors from the parking lot can only be opened from the outside using the room card. The lobby is attractively furnished and immaculate in appearance with free computer/Internet service. The hallways are attractively decorated and sufficiently wide to accommodate special needs. The rooms are very attractively furnished, immaculate, comfortable and easily accessible from the parking lot. The beds were very comfortable, the linens upgraded, the bathroom spotless, and the maid service superb. Amenities included free in-room Internet access, and a generous continental breakfast. The staff was friendly, helpful, and highly professional. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was a truly pleasant stay!!!

I did not know anything about this hotel when I chose it, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it as an efficient, clean, friendly, well-located place to stay......and it's across the street from a Bob Evans restaurant. The only downside might be that they have long hallways, which could be fatiguing for the elderly.

Fortunately, we stayed there only one night. The walls are very thin and you can join into the conversation of your neighbors. We had a very restless night as the young people in the room behind our beds stayed up late. Very difficult to do the day-long driving we had planned the next day due to a lack of rest. Also, the refrigerator hummed and made noises all night constantly waking us up. Would never stay there again.

This hotel was very clean the staff could not have been any friendlier and more helpful. Both the evening and morning staff were great!! I always saw someone cleaning something. I had a couple of special requests and the staff went out of there way to help making my stay great.I would go out of my was to stay there again if i went to South Bend again. There were many restaurants close by and was close to Notre Dame University and down town. Don't hesitate to stay here!!!!!!

The Jameson Inn is a very nice hotel. The beds are comfortable but there were not enough. blankets. The A/C and heat in the room worked great. The ice machine had plenty of ice/The hot tub was not particulary hot, but the pool was a great temperature! The hotel was pretty quiet. The breakfast was spectacular! If you stay here, you will not need to go out for breakfast at all! The coffee in the lobby was excellent, but the coffee in the room was not. The breakfast had everything from cereal to fresh waffles, bagels, and muffins. My only major compliant would be the shuttle service in the morning. I set up the time for the shuttle the morning before and then double checked to make sure I would have a ride to the airport the night before, but when I came down for my ride in the morning, I had no ride. The girl at the desk called a cab for me, but I had to pay for it myself. End result, I would not rely on the shutter service at this hotel, but the quality of the hotel overall is great.
