The Ritz Carlton was better than we had expected!!! I know it is a 5 star hotel, but it was more like a 10 star hotel!!! From the second we arrived, we were treated like royalty. They remember your names, what you like, and when you want it!!! Beach was beautiful, water was too!! All of the staff (even out on beach) was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning for another vacation :)

We just returned from the Ritz. It was so relaxing. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. I only have one minor complaint. You can't dine outside in the beautiful weather at night. They should open the restaurant by the pool at night! We took the bus into Old San Juan had had a fantastic lunch at the Toro Solero restaurant right near the bus depot. Will definitely return. Do not worry about the airport being so close. Not an issue.

I just came back from San Juan. I spent the Halloween weekend there. The staff is very helpfull. The hotel is Divine. The food is superior. Highly recommend it. My boyfriend and I are planning to get marry there.

The Ritz Carlton in San Juan, Puerto Rico is just the right size - not too big, not too small. From the time you check in, the staff greets you by name and goes out of their way to be helpful. Guests are varied in ages, from seniors to children - a nice mix. This is a quiet hotel, nice pool, great beach but you won't find a luau or a band playing outside by the pool. What you will find is exceptional service and wonderful quality. Great location also. Can walk to other hotels with casinos and nightlife. Can walk to family friendly restaurants such as Dennys, Chili's, Ponderosa, etc. Very short ride to the airport. 15 minutes to the mall or Old San Juan. We've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 6dys/5nights in mid July and we absolutely LOVED it! The service was exceptional and the room was fab! Usually, we are ready to get a jump start on our day pretty early when we go on vacation, but because everything at the hotel was sooo wonderful, we just indulged in the amenities and services until midday and then headed out to explore the island! I would definitely recommend staying there!
