I could not say enough to praise the staff at the hotel for their friendliness and helpfulness. The front desk went out of their way to find directions, tell us about restaurants and guide us to great things to see. The tourists converged on the desk every day, all day and they never rolled their eyes or acted exasperated. They were top class. The hotel was just beautiful. I did not expect such a beautiful hotel for the price. The furniture, draperies, artwork and landscaping were beautiful. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone. My only complaint is that you have to walk a few blocks to get to beautiful beach. The beach that is very close to the hotel is dirty and not kept up. The city's fault-not the hotel's fault.

Just a brief overnight layover and we got a good price. Positives...very nice front desk, excellent breakfast (always a factor), and comfortable and clean room. Except for the bathroom. The door was off balance and if we tried to leave it open a bit it swung open all the way causing an obstruction to exiting the room. Could be a safety issue. There was no place to set the hand towel or our toiletries. I think this was a handicap accessible bathroom, big sink, lots of rails including on the toilet. And I hated seeing the two long strands of hair on the floor near the shower. But the worst thing was the odor of the bathroom. If you looked overhead from the toilet you could see exposed and caulked pipes. Must have contributed to the foul odor. But...would stay here again.

It is not too far from the airport which was important to me. So the $15 cab ride there and back on top of the 130+ cost = 160 which makes me think I should have stayed in the overpriced airport location. The appeal is nice, but the front desk staff do not care about the guests because it seems to interfere with their personal lives and conversions. My room was great with the exception of the 3 baby roaches I killed in the bathroom..yuck!

Clean, comfortable, and friendly. We only stayed here one night, but we were impressed by the quality of this hotel. Wifi available everywhere plus a business center with hard-wired computers - all free. Also an okay free breakfast with a couple of hot dishes and some fruit in addition to the usual baked items and the cereals. The location is Isla Verde, which is close to the beach if that's what you're looking for (we weren't). We just wanted a clean, comfortable, safe place to stay overnight after we left the cruise ship and before catching the plane home. This hotel was excellent in that respect. Don't eat at the Denny's across the street.
