    This motel was selected for me, and it turned out to be very nice for the price. Yes, I would have liked a larger overall room and bathroom, but they served their purposes. The bed and pillows were not my own (like home), but they were comfortable (even though small). The staff was very friendly, especially the man and woman who tend to the complimentery breakfast area. The newspapers, the large TVs, the lobby, the mints, and the cookies were all extra bonuses. We were traveling with a team, and while teenagers can cause panic with other guests and with the staff, the staff treated us superbly. If traveling back to the area, this Hampton would definitely be at the top of my list.

    This hotel takes excellent care of their guests from the complimentary breakfast, the gentleman who comes around with little boxes of mints, the fluffy clean beds, friendly front desk staff, a community computer in the lobby, coffee 24/7, and even cookies at night. You can't beat if for $100 or so. I will stay at this specific hotel each and every time I come to North Canton to visit family.

    When my Mom passed away recently, my family and I stayed two nights at the Hampton Inn-Canton because the location was convenient to the funeral home in North Canton. On the day of the funeral my husband visited the front desk to request a late checkout of 12:30pm., instead of 12p.m., so that we could avoid arriving at the funeral home too early. The woman at the front desk was not only rude, but denied his request for the extra 30 minutes, and went so far as to say she would charge us a full night's stay if we were not out of the room by 12p.m. My husband tried to reason with her, and explain our situation, but couldn't get anywhere with her. In addition to the hotel not being anywhere near full, we are HHonors members and ironically 'late checkout' is listed as a perk on the Hilton website.


    Because of the rude, insensitive treatment by the front desk staff, we will never again stay at the Hampton Inn Canton, and we will recommend to friends and colleagues that they also search elsewhere for accommodations.

    The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful on what was located near by. The room was clean and you are only a minute away from the mall. We had a group of loud guys outside in the halloway at 3 a.m. which was the only draw back but that's not the hotel's fault. Overall it was a very nice hotel and a good get away.
