Hilton hotels are not related to the casino hotels which are privately managed and just use the HIlton name according to the desk clerk so we couldn't use our frequent flyer Hilton card here. The hotel was old and had a very ""used"" feeling about it. The decor was old and tired and the view from the room was obstructed. The staff at the front desk were rude and tried to herd you through the check in process like a bunch of cattle, ""last name, form of payment, go see that man there and have form of payment ready"" one girl was taking a personal call while we waited to speak to her. The pool closes at 8 to encourage all your free time to gamble and the fitness room and sauna are 15.00 a day extra. the Hilton is at the very far end of the boardwalk, away from all the big casinos. There is no concierge that we could find, so we didn't get to see much other than the boardwalk. Here's a tip if you walk the entire boardwalk it ends in a very bad neighborhood so be careful. The Hilton buffet was about 10.00 cheaper than the others which were around 25.00, but we never ate there. All in all not a good experience won't stay there again.

Arrived Wednesday afternoon July 30th @ 5:00 PM. Was told room not ready yet. Our freinds room was ready at 5:00 and we decided to wait in their room until ours was ready. The rug in their room was stained, the bed spreads were stained there was garbage on the floor next to the waste paper basket and the room looked very worn. Had to wait until 6:00 pm for room. Our room slightly better but not much. beds OK,pillows terrible. Went to the buffet for dinner food OK.Breakfast at Horizons, food good. Casino, only two craps tables open,drink service not so good, plastic cups lots of ice, slot machines OK. Went to beach two days, rented cabana and chairs, they used to supply ice, water and fruit platter, not anymore, used to be live misic during the day at the beach bar, not during the week any more, used to have waitress service to cabanas during the week, not anymore, beach bathrooms clean. Swarms of black flies that bite ruined both days. water cold beach fairly clean. Dinner at Patsys, food was good. Played approximately total of 20 hours during course of stay. Received some minor food comp dollars, friend who played same received over four times as much, go figure! Called casino host before checkout to have play rated and was told that nothing could be done. Asked for $49 room charge to be comped was told no. After much persistence I was told that they would take it off my bill. In room check out not working had to go to fornt desk.At desk room charge not removed and addittional long distance phone charge on bill. Argued with desk clerk, got nowhere. My wife asked for the managers information and was given a name and phone number.

I have stayed at this location close to 80 times now and must say that I love it there! We frequently stay there for weekend getaways, summertime extended stays, winter events etc. and the hotels is always consistent! If you are someone who likes to gamble and decide to do your gambeling here, you won't regret it! The perks are plentiful! The Hilton has 3 levels of gambeling, Classic, Elite, and Ultra.If you are either Elite or Ultra you will always have an excellerated VIP checkin in and the people at that desk are amazing!! You get free tickets to all of the shows, free parking, free room upgrades-the suites are beautiful and very large,invited to all sorts of fun events and preferance for dining. The Hilton really tries to get as many top acts as possible and they also facilitate numerous meet and greets with stars..loads of food and fun!! Their give aways are great too!I've gotten leather jackets, diamond earings, grills, luggage, money and much much more. At the holidays they have a shopping spree-Top name brand items that are free to you! Everything from jewlery, plasma tv's designer purses, novelty goods, food & more are available for you all the while you are waited on with food and drinks as you shop! It's great! No one gives comp like the Hilton!Bst part of this hotel is the restaurants.This past weekend we were at the opening of their newest restaurant-Patsys..delicious italian cuisine! the Oaks is an amazing New York style steakhouse, Peregrines has wonderful french food and great service, Horizons is great eakfast or lunch and the bars are all great!You'll always be able to get reservations if you are Elite or Ultra , Chairmens club is for Elite&Ultra guests and its stunning!Free food, drinks&fun!

I arrived at the hotel at noon, and had to wait 20 minutes to check in. The room was not available until 5 PM. There were not enough desk people to handle the check in, and the housekeeping was understaffed and slow to prep rooms. At check out there was no process that allowed checking out in the room. The desk was again understaffed causing a long wait. Given the chance I have not recommended this hotel.
I was supposedly in the refurnished part of the hotel, and found it to be in need or repair. Light switches were broken, light bulbs were not working, and the cabinet doors would not close. -

the bathroom was very clean with nice lotions and soaps. two sinks was very convenient for me and my boyfriend. staff service very friendly. decent size room with a beautiful view of the beach. kind of far away from everything else but really nice and quiet overall. i really have no bad opinion about Hilton, it was a great stay and i hope i can stay there again very soon. i would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to go to Atlantic City.
