After reading some of the reviews various places, citing some negative things about this hotel, I was a little apprehensive after we had already booked here for the week. But we found the room to be very clean and comfortable, staff very accomodating and it was very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We have stayed in 4-5 star hotels frequently and would highly recommend this hotel/motel. Pool/hot tub was nice. Very short drive to down town. We stayed in a one room w/ queen sized bed. Although there was no view, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was new and clean. Housekeeping was great. No complaints from us.

The room that I and a friend stayed in was on the small side, but it was properly maintained and clean. Throughout, the hotel was really well maintained (pool, lobby, etc.), the staff was friendly and helpful. My stay was quite pleasant. Would definitely recommend to others. Was told by other guests, who stayed in suites, that they were the way to go. More space, fridge and microwave.

The standard rooms are located inside; are extremely small with 1950 well used furniture, old dirty carpet and one small window onto a walkway. The first room shown was filled with stale smoke; the second room smelled better but still had old dirty carpet. We paid an additional $* per night plus tax to upgrade to a suite. The suite was clean and consisted of a 3 room apartment with balcony that faces ocean complete with noise of the freeway between the hotel and ocean. The furniture was still left over from the 50's. This property was built with the suites amounting to a 3 room apartment with balcony facing ocean. Another inside bedroom and bath is added with a separate entrance. These inside bedrooms are the poor properties being used as a price leader. I am rating the inside rooms where we had a non refundable advance payment made for 2 day stay.

drinks and the pool is not real crowded. We park and get a cab to go in town or just enjoy the
quite time around the pool. Sleeps up to 10 and what a deal for the kids as well .Love KW
and can't wait ti go again .
